Our Mission

OppsCommCentral is focused on making one of the 1,000’s of tasks you have to do everyday – deal with product issues – easier and less time consuming. OppsCommCentral serves the folks in restaurants who are busting it every day to serve their guests crave-able food in a welcoming restaurant with amazing team members.

Our History

OppsCommCentral was developed after seeing countless foodservice companies struggle with effectively managing issues with product that were identified by the restaurant teams. We thought, “this shouldn’t be so hard on the Ops teams!” and “There has to be a better way to communicate product issues!” And now, with OppsCommCentral, there is a better way!

About Lori Stephens

The lead food safety expert at OppsCommCentral is Lori Stephens. Lori Stephens is a 20-year plus veteran of the restaurant and foodservice industry, with a strong background in food safety, food quality, and business and technology development in the food industry. In mid-2017, Lori launched a consulting company, BLAZE Advisory + Technical, LLC, to provide strategic advisement and tactical technical support in food safety, quality, and compliance for multi-unit restaurants and foodservice operations. Prior to starting BLAZE, Lori worked with NSF International ABC Research Laboratories, and over eleven years of service with Darden Restaurants. Lori holds a Master of Science degree in Food Science and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, both from the University of Florida. She is a Registered Environment Health Specialist (REHS).
